ITG Commerce created the Magento 1 site for Good360 in 2013 and has been supporting it ever since. In 2020 with end of life for Magento 1, it was time to migrate to Magento 2, and to keep up with the latest technologies, G360 decided to do this with Magento’s brand new PWA Studio frontend.
ITG Commerce is a long-time Good360 partner who consistently provided great service over the years. In 2020, they developed a brand new site for us, based on cutting edge technologies (headless Magento server, B2B extensions, PWA frontend) with the goal to future-proof our investment. Pushed by Magento 1 EOL deadline, ITG delivered the new site on a extremely aggressive timeline, which now allows Good360 to support its growth and provide a better customer experience.

Implementation, challenges and story
The project started with an on site discovery at the Good360 HQ in Alexandria, Virginia, where we decided on technologies and planned out the timeline. Good360 became an early adopter of PWA Studio with Magento 2 Commerce, heavily using B2B features. Since he nonprofit business model is somewhat different from standard E-Commerce, we had to do quite some custom development as well.
The site is fully integrated with Netsuite, uses Guidestar and NCES through their API to validate nonprofits and Cybersource as a payment provider.
Results
The result of the project is a state of the art B2B E-Commerce site using the latest technologies from the hosting on AWS, through the backend on the latest Magento 2 Commerce version, to the frontend built as a progressive web application (PWA).
